EGG ON RICE

Posted by

Basically fried egg on any leftover works for this boys breakfast. The fried egg technique in Mad Hungry works like a charm to avoid a gooby, runny top and overcooked bottom. Seems like a big duh but have heard from a few folks who claim to have finally fried the perfect egg.

  • Hi,I am a Stay at Home Aussie Mama to 2 hungry boys (even though they are 3 and 1 (years) they are already mad hungry). I just wanted to stop by and thank you for your wonderful book. I have been a fan of your segments on Martha for ages and when I heard your book had been released I ordered it for my xmas stocking. OOPS it didn't make it to xmas ;) I devoured it cover to cover over the past weekend. You have included so much wonderful information and food for thought amongst your fantastic recipes not to mention that you have made me mad hungry while reading it!Thanx heaps for giving me a new twist on some of my old faves and for inspiring me with some mouthwatering new recipes. You have rocked our little aussie country kitchen!XX

  • Topping warmed up left-over rice with a fried egg looked delicious! What was the Thai sauce that you used. I just discovered your show and I am loving it.

  • Once you did an egg over rice. Sounds so simple
but I cant seem to find it. I love the way you did
the egg. I love that recipe and I love how you make
it look so easy !! Thanks for making cooking fun
    again instead of a chore.
    hugs!!
