Mad Hungry with Lucinda Scala Quinn

Recipes from Today's Show: Restaurant Food at Home

Posted by

TODAY on MHTV: We all have our fave go-to spots for dining out—for me it's anything Italian—but sometimes you just want to have that delicious restaurant meal in your own home. To get things going, toasted herb-buttered bread; use it to soak up the sauce from succulent shrimp scampi. Serve it with a creamy egg-based dressing drizzled over a crisp Caesar salad. More from the show.

  • I adore your show!! I watched y on Everyday Food, but u really shine on Mad Hungry!! Wish they would stop moving your time slot. I tell all my "mom" friends about food! Martha is lucky to have u!

  • Your recipes are wonderful! I love cooking at home all the time, and your Italian Meatloaf was fantastic this week. Keep up the good work!

  • Today I got my husband to watch your show. He was hooked in no time. He keeps talking about a no-cook pasta sauce. I cannot locate this receipe. Is it on your site? Good luck with your show. I will be watching.

  • I've never blogged before - but had to write to say I made your bruschetta pomodoro last night. I made it early and had it on the counter while I was out. My hubby called me when he got home to say "honey, you really rocked this bruschetta!" Huge praise from my 100% Italian man! My four kids loved it too! (ages 14,12,12,10) Thanks for the wonderful show...I'm going to order your books. Delicious food, delightful host.

  • Lucinda I started watching the show and I love it. This mean a lot, because I don't cook, but you make me feel like I could try and do this. I let you know. Thanks a lot and please keep on doing easy healthy recipes!

  • I recommend this show to everybody who cooks, especially young kids in College. Lucinda has recipes for all palates and they are ALL easy to make. I've cooked at least 40% of them (and I don't have much time for cooking). The recipes I have tried come out just like I see them on TV.
Also, Lucinda always keeps in mind to have healthy foods, while balancing great flavors.

Thanks to the entire crew of Mad Hungry!

  • Lucinda, my daughter turned me on to your show and I admit to being a devotee. I
Have tried many of your reces and they are great, I love your approach to food, family centered and extremely flavorful. I think your style of cooking has broad based appeal..eg...my daughter is a grad student w/ 4 kids and a social worker...I am a retired 61 yr old RE Broker And grandmother to 9. I hope Martha Stewart understands how your comfortable style has elevated FoodTV and made it a favorite in our homes. We have recommended it tp everyone and feedback is great. Looks as of you are into reruns....hope some new shows are on the horizon? Good luck and please stay around!
    Thanks, Lucinda !!!!!
