TODAY on MHTV @ 11:30 a.m. ET: A quiet dinner for two at home is a great way to spend valentine’s day. The kids are out for the night so I’m making a meal worth celebrating. Black pepper-crusted, broiled sirloin is topped with a caramelized onion pan sauce; also known as heaven on a plate to us steak fans. A simple endive wedge salad drizzled with blue cheese vinaigrette is a great accompaniment. And ending this meal happily? How about a satiny chocolate pots de crème. More from the show.

I made this dinner for my husband and I and every single thing was excellent. My husband said it tasted like a professional chef had cooked for us. What a wonderful compliment! Thank you so much for all of your wonderful ideas!!

I have never been able to make a good steak. I used this recipe and they were magnificent. I wish you would put a carbohydrate count at the end of your recipes. My husband and I are diabetic and this would really help in meal planning. You cook "real food" and that is what we like. Thank you.

I made this dinner last night for my girl and it was amazing. I took a little time off the steak because we prefer our steaks very medium rare...and they were some of the best steaks we have ever eaten...and I made them!!! I also made the pots de creme...very good but a little too chocolatety...i used the recipe for the honey ginger glazed carrots but instead of adding chili pepper a the end i added cinnamon...delicious...thank you so much for the recipes...i will certainly refer to this site again in the future.

Lucinda.... Thank you so much for teaching me how to cook! I made this meal for my husband on Valentine's day and he/we loved.... loved it! The Chocolate Pots de Crème was so decadent. You are amazing!!!! I do have one question... will you be having any shows on gluten free recipes? That would be such a big help.
