Weeknite Dinner Challenge: Thanks Peeps

Posted by

I’ve just finished reading the dozens of recipe entries for our dinner challenge and they are all so good--wow! Honestly, there is not one recipe I wouldn’t be happy to make for dinner TONIGHT.

You all are awesome and have just raised the bar on our testing job. I don’t know how we’re going to narrow down our entries but I am psyched about trying all these recipes. Thanks folks ---for making work fun!

  • How exciting.....

  • I and I'm sure the others am excited to be able to share just a bit of my fav cooking with you because you share daily with me IN MY KITCHEN!! I am always there with my daughter, Becca, at that time of the morning and among the other things going on I always have an ear and at least one eye (LOL!) on what you are saying and doing. Will you put the recipes that have been entered on your website so we can all share with each other? That would be really neat, Lucinda.
Thanks for challenging me to step out of my box of 10 or so fav recipes that I seem to repeat every week and try some new favorites!

Looking forward to seeing the special viewer show!

  • I had to write you how I am so impressed by your method and how you share your recipes on Mad Hungry. I have tried your chicken recipes an have learned how to use olive oil more as I am trying to watch my health selections, you always give me great everyday ideas. I even learned how to cook a fried egg ( always ate scrambled all my life!). Thank you for helping learn how to eat more healthy with everyday foods!

  • Love watching the "wacky wonderful" you... especially the episode you and your friend had a few too many. I laughed a lot! In Montecastello where I attended art school we had the most delicious eggplant parmesan. The taste exploded in my mouth and was unbelievable. Do you have a recipe for that?

  • This past week-end, my husband and I made your recipe for pot roast. It was outstanding. I had made another pot roast from Cooking Country magazine that really didn't have the flavor and was, quite frankly ugh. Your recipe was easy to follow and the flavors were wonderful. Since there's only the two of us (didn't invite any of our kids), we had several wonderful meals off one roast. Thanks. I really enjoy your show and can't wait to try the uncorned beef recipe.

  • I can't wait to see what you choose!!

  • Love your show and all the helpful tips. Can you tell me where you purchased the long, thin, wood, spatula you use on your show. I've looked in all the kithchen stores in my area and have been unable to locate one. I love using wooden pieces to cook with.
