Mad Hungry with Lucinda Scala Quinn

Next Week on "Mad Hungry"

Posted by

"Mad Hungry" is not airing at its regular time today, but I'll be back next week with more all-new episodes!

Next up: My brother Jim is stopping by to help prepare a sweet-and-savory Southern-style supper, plus NYC street-cart food and my son Luca's favorite Italian dishes. Tune in weekdays at 12 p.m. ET/11 a.m. CT on Hallmark Channel.

  • Lucinda,

So ridiculous that you weren't on today. Why would a children's cartoon be on at 12 noon? Who's in charge of programming? A kids program on when the kids are in school. Considering it's a MARTHA cartoon, you think she would be smarter to open her mouth so it would air at a kid friendly time.
Lucinda, you got the best cooking show on the air. It's ridiculous that you are not on at 11:00 and 11:30. Hopefully they will come to their senses.

  • totally agree with Marc!!! This is the best cooking show on TV....also, I would love to know where Lucinda gets her beautiful blouses (tops)??

  • Let's here it for Lucinda. The most real relatable cook on TV. I agree, a cartoon geared at kids shown while they are in school is ridiculous. No wonder not many people have heard of the Hallmark Channel. Is Mr. Hallmark's nephew running the station? :)

  • Dear Lucinda,

So nice to see you on The Talk. Turning 50 next week and my family will make many of your recipes for me. I'm really enjoying your guest John Contratti's blog too. That guy can cook. I think you discovered someone. I hope he will be back on Mad Hungry soon. Thanks for all you do, for all of us, Lucinda.

  • I agree with Marc. I am so tired of telling them that I want my hour of Mad Hungry! LSQ doesn't take boxes of premade stuff and put them together and call it dinner. She doesn't take outlandish ingredients that you can't find anywhere, and it doesn't take all week to prepare one meal for the next week. Dinners in my house are tasty and they are easy to prepare now. I have always enjoyed cooking, but I can say now that meal time is better and easier. My son will eat the entire chicken picatta all by himself if I don't stop him. Thanks LSQ for making my kitchen the place to be.

  • I was wondering if you are coming out with a new cookbook for this year? I love making your recipes.

  • Hi Lucinda,
I just wanted to tell you that you have a huge following and we all really miss you when you are not on at your scheduled time. It is like missing out on a visit with a good friend.

Also, we want the videos back!! Like so many others have said, the recipes alone don't give us the tips and tricks that help us to simplify and improve our meals.

We sure hope the people at Hallmark will consider our requests.

You are the best there is on TV.
I have made a number of your recipes and we all enjoy them.
Thanks for all you do to make my life in the kitchen easier.
