I am not a huge football fan but I do love game grub. Today, Calder and I are going to show you how to make some easy bite-sized eats with big flavor: Seven Layer Bean Dip are a great one-up from salsa while mini Sliders are grilled with the pickle right in them and topped with all the fixings. And what would be game grub without some wings? Spicy Sweet Chicken Wings have the heat and the sweet!

Dear Lucinda,
I love your show and love your recipes. I meant to write this earlier but didn't get to it.
This is in reference to your Israeli food show ( from a while ago) with a visiting Israeli Mom of a friend of yours, who showed you how to make falafel from scratch. I am Israeli and love to cook from scratch (for all the reasons that you mention on your show), However if you'd check the recipe of falafel you'll find that falafel is made from raw chickpeas, not canned ones, they are soaked overnight and ground the following day with all the other ingredients. Only Humus is made from cooked chickpeas (preferabely cooked and processed with tahini, lemon juice, garlic salt and pepper). If you are short in time, you can use the canned ones, but you'll find out there is a big difference in taste.

Why can't I get the recipes for big game sliders and seven layer bean dip. When I put in the recipe it goes to a furniture sight. How can I get these recipes?

I have been a fan of your food since trying your Spicy-Sweet Chicken Wings, which aired on the Martha Stewart Show. It is my favorite wings recipe of all time.
Good luck in your food endeavors.

Hi Lucinda.....Big fan of your Television show and also program with all the cooks showing different dishes by each. Love the down home feel with you in the kitchen with all the useable kitchen tools in the background like a normal regular kitchen might have. Love to go into thrift stores looking for pretty serving dishes that people have discarded for one reason or another! It's great that your whole family cooks for each other.....Have tried many of your recipes....you give us the courage to try them.

Besides your wonderful recipes & teaching skills, I also love the beautiful blouses that you wear. Where do you shop or do you have a favorite designer or label?
