Mad Hungry with Lucinda Scala Quinn

Recipes From Today's Show: Game Day

Posted by

TODAY on MHTV: Football season may be over but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some good game grub. MQ is here helping me with the chili made with rehydrated ancho chilies that add a little heat but a lot of flavor. CQ is here too making our house staple, cheesy popcorn snacks. I've also got my famous green goddess ranch dressing with lots of fresh veggies on the side for dipping.

  • MH,

What's going on? What's happening with Mad Hungry? Is the Hallmark Channel just prolonging making a commitment for new Mad Hungry episodes??? The new Fall season will be here before you know it. What's going on???

    Dean

  • Just pull the plug already. Today's episode has been on at least 6-8 times already. What a shame.

    Corinne

  • Copied from todays MH Blog from viewer question.

No, MHTV did not get canceled. We're actually developing the new season of shows as we speak. Please stay tuned- as soon as we have more information, we'll pass on!

    Best,
    The MH Team

I guess when HallMark gets ready to promote the new season, you'll find out "what's going on?"

  • Correction: The post is from MH Facebook site. I read it and the MH Blog everyday.

  • Oh come on. If Mad Hungry is making new episodes, why wouldn't they say, "we are making new episodes for the Fall". They haven't said that. So why I haven't they said that????

    Paulette

  • Paulette...go to the MH FB site and read it for yourself. Why would they (MH Crew) post a lie?

  • To: Jane M: Went through Facebook and didn't see it. But really now, if they were going to be making new episodes they would be mentioning it very often. Please find for us, Jane, where it says "We are filming new episodes of Mad Hungry or We will begin filming new episodes this summer". When you find those exact words, please inform us. Until then.......many don't believe it. All new shows on Hallmark daytime this Fall. Where does Mad Hungry fit in????

@Larry The above site is MH's own FB site. Go to this site and look on the right hand side of the top of the page where it says "Recent Posts" Click on "See All"
Then go down to the 9th post from Alicia Morrell. There you will find the response I copied and pasted above. The MH Crew says they "are developing the new season of shows as we speak" if you don't believe them, that is your right. You don't have to believe them. Personally, I don't see why they would lie to fans...but I don't have a crystal ball so I choose to believe until I see something that contradicts what the MH crew claims they are doing "as we speak". So go to foodnetwork and watch their reruns because each chef makes about one new show a week during their season and then your watching shows from 2000 up to 2011. How much better can you get If you're sick of MH reruns? When MH comes back with new shows somebody will no doubt let you know.

  • To Jane M: I hope you are right. But to be honest, LSQ has said nothing about making new episodes. That's all they have to do. They're always "developing". I have written so many times, even to the "Contact Us" area of this blog (so have many friends) and no response. I request that they bring back the cooking teacher guy who's blog is so wonderful and whose career has been launched because of MH and they never ever say that he will be back. (especially if they're "developing" new episodes) He should be back on one of the episodes. From reading this blog very often, he has received tons of wonderful feedback. More than any other guest. I, like you Jane, love MH and LSQ. I will try to be a little more optimistic like you. Thanks for the updates.

    Cory

  • I'm in full agreement with Cory. Viewers have been asking for the teacher/cook to return since he first appeared on the show. And with all this "the show is coming back", the show is "developing" new episodes " let's see if they are listening to viewers and they bring him back to cook.

    Beverly

  • I REALLY love LSQ, Mad Hungry Show. I look forward with optimism we will have a new series. Same format, etc. She is my "favorite" tv cook. Don't change a thing!! Until then I continue to watch the reruns. After many years of watching MS, I realize the comments regarding her not interacting well with audience, guests, etc., is true. She was much better doing cooking, crafts, organize, gardening, herself.
