TODAY on MHTV: I’m making freezer friendly recipes that save time without sacrificing flavor. With little effort in preparation and a basic tomato sauce, you can have hearty lasagna that goes from freezer to oven, a quick lentil vegetable soup and a coffee cake that only gets better with freezing. With dishes like these in your icebox, you'll always have a backup plan for busy weeknight meals.

Enjoy watching the show and get some good ideas from it. Do not watch everyday but as much as I can. I am a 76 years old married woman(52 years) and my husband likes a good meal each day at noon.
I cook country cooking mostly but like to try new recipes too.
we live in the south so fresh vegetables are being used now.
thank you

I am almost a repeat of Lucy. I have to freeze because there are only two of us and our food would go to waste.
Good show.
Thanks

Loved Aunt Patty's Coffee Cake. My husband and I are making them ahead to freeze and give out to neighbors and friends as Christmas presents this year.
