TODAY on MHTV: Chinese take-out may be easy on a busy night, but it’s surprisingly easy to whip up – plus you’ll wind up saving a few bucks (and unnecessary calories). Today Calder and I are making healthier versions some of our favorite Chinese takeout dishes: sweet and crunchy sesame chicken, pork fried rice and for some green, try my pea shoots with garlic. I promise you’ll have these recipes made before the luke-warm take-out would even arrive at your door.

I realized early that many boys, young men weren't taught to cook, do laundry and were helpless when they married. When my son was born, I was determined to teach him to be self-sufficient.
My son cooks, can do laundry and I'm so glad he knows how to do these domestic chores.
I'm delighted to see Lucinda's sons in the kitchen learning the art of cooking. They are charming and the show makes me feel like I'm invited to sit down and join them! The family meal is so important.

Dear Lucinda,
I enjoy your show very much. I saw today on the commercials that Marie Osmond is coming to the Hallmark channel in October. My husband heard that some programs are being taken off the air to make room for the Marie Osmond show. Is your show still being aired in October?

@Carol Marie Osmond's show replaces Martha Stewart. HMC hasn't made an official announcement about the future of MH. However, Emerill's show is said to be cancelled as well.

Face it Jane M., MH is cancelled. They would be making new episodes for the fall and would have proudly announced it. It is a shame. The only good show on Hallmark, I will not be watching Hallmark anymore without MH.

I just came across this show today. I love it!! I can't believe I've been missing this great show. I hope the comments aren't true that it may be cancelled. Get rid of Marie and keep this show.

I've got nothing against Marie Osmond, but I've seen the commercials for her show and never have I felt the slightest interest in checking out the show. It seems so generic, and quite frankly - phony too. I predict the show won't do well -- so when Hallmark decides not to renew - please bring back Mad Hungry. This is a true quality show, one that provides viewers with real tips, friendly advice, and good recipes.
