Favorite place to shop for food, cooking tools, or wine: I’m generally fascinated with any and all grocery stores/markets -- you can loose me in one for hours. Grab in Brooklyn sells great craft beer and cheese, and it's across the street from my apartment. What more could a girl really ask for?
Favorite food and wine/cocktail pairing: Hands down best pairing in the entire world is a deep/fudgy chocolate cake with Banfi Brachetto D'Acqui Rosa Regale (trust me, you won't regret it). Shinerbock and queso. Whiskey and anything.
Favorite pasta shape: Pappardelle and campanelle
If I were a fruit or vegetable I’d be: A fresh summer tomato
Favorite spice: Vanilla or basil
Guilty pleasure: Reubens and milkshakes. Love seeking out regional fast food. Yes, I have searched for the McRib (and found it).
First childhood memory of food: Being taught how to make scrambled eggs with my dad when I was 3 -- supervivid memory of sitting on the kitchen counter and watching him cook.
